BUILDING AND PROMOTING THE ROLE OF CULTURAL CAPITAL IN ACHIEVING THE GOALS OF “RICH PEOPLE, STRONG NATION, JUST, DEMOCRATIC, AND CIVILIZED SOCIETY”

Abstract: The 13th National Party Congress affirmed the continued implementation of the system of goals of “rich people, strong nation, just, democratic, and civilized society" as an important characteristic of the socialist society that Vietnam is building. There are many different sources of capital to successfully implement Party Congress’s goals, among which cultural capital has a vital role because this is a sustainable endogenous capital source, easy to reproduce, accumulate, inherit and ensures harmony in implementing the above-mentioned goals. Therefore, building and promoting cultural capital is an essential task for achieving the goal of “rich people, strong nation and an just, democratic, and civilized society" in Vietnam today.
