DENG XIAOPING’S THOUGHT OF EDUCATION STRATEGY

Abstract: Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, China has faced a continuously changing and increasingly complex domestic and international situation. Deng Xiaoping advanced the reform and opening-up policy, focusing on education as a breakthrough point to promote reform and opening-up. Deng Xiaoping's thought of education strategy refers to his scientific policies and viewpoints on socialist education issues, and it is an integral part of his theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. In practice, Deng Xiaoping applied the basic principles of Marxism and Mao Zedong thought to develop scientific and innovative policies on major educational issues, laying the foundation for the reform and development of education in China over the past 45 years of reform and opening-up.
