EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN REVOLUTIONARY ETHICS STANDARDS FOR PARTY’S CADRES AND MEMBERS UNDER REGULATION 144 OF THE POLITBURO – FOR A PROSPEROUS AND STRONG VIETNAM

Abstract: In Vietnam, educating and training Party’s cadres and members in revolutionary ethics holds a crucial role. Revolutionaries must possess revolutionary ethics as their core to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause. However, a significant portion of Party’s cadres and members today exhibit ideological and political decline, moral corruption, and unethical lifestyles, leading to weakened ideals, corruption, and public distrust. This article evaluates the current state of revolutionary ethics among Party’s cadres and members and proposes solutions to enhance ethics education and training based on Regulation 144-QD/TW (issued on May 9, 2024) regarding revolutionary ethical standards for Party’s cadres and  members in the new era. Strengthening revolutionary ethics in Party building and rectification is both a fundamental and urgent task for ensuring a prosperous and strong Vietnam.
