Abstract: The family is the first social environment for individuals from childhood. It is a complex institution with diversity across generations, gender, occupation, education, personality, and psychology. Family education shapes individuals’ adaptation to society and determines their behavior, emotions, and ethics. This article summarizes and systematizes family values and proposes solutions to promote them as a foundation for sustainable human development in Vietnam.
