Abstract: Currently, the ideological and theoretical struggles in Vietnam are more intense, determined, and complex than ever. To firmly protect the ideological foundation of the Party, it requires all parties to implement various measures synchronously and systematically; among them, the political awareness of lecturers in social sciences and humanities in the military in defending the Party's ideological foundation is a very important and practical issue. This article analyzes and clarifies the current status of political awareness of lecturers in social sciences and humanities in military academies in the task of defending the Party's ideological foundation, and proposes several basic solutions to enhance the effectiveness of this work in the new situation.
