EDUCATIONAL SCIENCE: SOME ISSUES TO CONSIDER

Abstract: This article analyzes several issues related to educational science, such as its objects and research methods, its position within the science classification system, its branches, and its important role in improving educational quality. The article provides a summary of the contribution of educational science to the improvement of education quality in Vietnam in recent years. It argues that knowledge of educational science has played an important role in renewing the content and methods of education in Vietnam, thus improving training quality. However, educational administrators, lecturers, and students need to pay more attention to the new knowledge in educational science and consider teaching this subject to students in pedagogy programs.
