Abstract

Abstract: The Law on the Implementation of Democracy at the Local Level in 2022 is a major step forward for democracy in general and local democracy in particular in Vietnam. After more than two years of implementation, many results have been achieved, but there are still limitations and new issues arising. Therefore, identifying solutions (in terms of awareness, institutional frameworks, resources, and implementation organization) to effectively practice the law on democracy at the local level in Vietnam today is important and necessary.
