Perfecting provisions of the 2015 Criminal Procedures Code on preventive measures

Abstract

Preventive measures in criminal proceedings need to be strictly prescribed on the applied grounds, procedures and formalities since they are coercive measures of the State that can affect human rights and citizen rights. The paper sheds light on inadequacies of the 2015 Criminal Procedures Code on preventive measures, then suggests some solutions to perfect the 2015 CrPC’s provisions on this matter.
