Equal rights of women who are the accused and victims in Vietnamese criminal proceedings

Abstract

Equal rights of women is no longer a new research topic of domestic and foreign scholars; however, there are still many gaps that need to be clarified on this topic under provisions of Vietnamese criminal procedure law. The article analyzes scientific opinions on equal rights of women who are the accused and victims, at the same time, revises the provisions of Vietnamese criminal procedure law to find out improvement solutions and recommendations in ensuring human rights generally and equal rights of the accused and victims particularly.
