Relationship among defense funtion, adjudication function and prosecution function in criminal procedures

Abstract

Regardless of the procedural model, there are always three basic functions in criminal proceedings, including: prosecution function, defense function and adjudication function. In criminal proceedings, these basic functions not only exist independently of each other, but also coordinate with each other and influence on each other. In addition to general research on the relationship between basic functions in criminal proceedings, the article also proposes to improve some regulations about the trial stage. These regulations show that the performance of one basic function affects to the efficiency of performing other basic functions.
