Improving the regulations of labor law on basic rights of workers without an employment relationship
Abstract
The Vietnamese government has issued many important policies for workers without an employment relationship, such as ensuring their legitimate and legal rights and interests; creating favorable conditions for job creation, self-employment, vocational training, and apprenticeship to get a job; attracting workers from production and business activities; and applying some provisions of the Labor Code to workers without an employment relationship. To effectively implement these policies, continuing to improve the legal mechanism to ensure and protect the basic rights of workers without an employment relationship will contribute significantly to labor market management and sustainable social security in the context of modern and effective national governance in Vietnam.
