Tóm tắt

This research explores the development and potential deployment of an autonomous mobile robot for fire surveillance, featuring a Mecanum wheel-based omnidirectional kinematic system. Traditional fire monitoring methods often struggle with adaptability and efficiency, especially in dynamic, hazardous environments. To overcome these challenges, the proposed system autonomously navigates varied terrains to detect and monitor fire incidents. It integrates advanced simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithms to dynamically build and update environmental maps, ensuring smooth navigation. A front-mounted camera streams real-time video to a web client, while machine learning algorithms classify potential fire hazards, enabling responsive behavior. Preliminary tests in controlled fire scenarios indicate high accuracy in fire detection and localization, alongside effective navigation in complex spaces. This study marks progress in autonomous robotics and offers a promising solution for enhancing fire safety across different environments.
