EDUCATING POLITICAL AWARENESS FOR STUDENTS THROUGH TEACHING THE COURSE OF HO CHI MINH THOUGHT

Educating students’ political awareness is an important task of higher education programs. In this regard, the course Ho Chi Minh Thought plays a particularly significant role in fostering students’ worldview, outlook on life, and scientific methodology. Therefore, this study is conducted to clarify the role of the Ho Chi Minh Thought course in educating political awareness among students, while also emphasizing the current state of political awareness education through the teaching of this course. The article mainly employs historical and logical methods, along with other methods such as analysis, synthesis, statistics, and surveys to clarify the research issues. The research findings indicate that, besides the achievements attained, the education of students’ political awareness through teaching the Ho Chi Minh Thought course still faces several limitations that need to be addressed. On that basis, the study proposes a number of specific solutions to further enhance the effectiveness of educating students’ political awareness through teaching the Ho Chi Minh Thought course in the context of the current fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training.Downloads
