Abstract

Reforming administrative procedures in the field of education and training is an inevitable trend in the current context of international integration, competitive market-based economy, and university autonomy. The paper was conducted to assess the level of student satisfaction with administrative procedures at School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University. The data was collected from a  survey on 418 students by dints of questionnaire and descriptive statistics. As the findings revealed, students at School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University have hitherto been content with the quality of administrative procedures and services (with 22 out of 27 criteria rated “satisfied”, equal to a hefty 81.48%, and  05 out 27 criteria given a “very satisfied” rate, accounting for 18.52%).  This finding confirms that improvements in administrative procedures have brought a positive effect on students’ perception. The above assessments are the basis for the authors to propose appropriate solutions to further enhance the quality of administrative procedures and services, pushing forward a comprehensive administrative reform.
