DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE IN THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE: INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF E-PUBLIC SERVICE ADOPTION FROM CITIZEN-CENTRIC PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
Construction of e-public service system is a key solution in comprehensive digital transformation strategy of Vietnam, with a vision towards e-Government. In Thai Nguyen province, e-public service implementation has achieved positive results. However, local citizens still do not fully understand and hesitate to adopt e-public service. In order to effectively implement e-public service, developing citizen-centric administration and aiming to e-Government, research is required to provide feasible means which facilitate citizen positive awareness and adoption of e-public service. Based on information gained from related official reports and surveys with local citizens, this study offers initial assessment of e-public service adoption in Thai Nguyen province and proposes a research model about influential factors of e-public service adoption with scale items for study constructs incorporated in the model. Future works could further conduct qualitative and quantitative assessment of citizen e-public service adoption, providing comprehensive analytical findings and recommending solutions to enhance the effectiveness of e-pubic service implementation in Thai Nguyen province.
