THE CONTRIBUTIONS AND ROLES OF THE PEOPLE IN THAI NGUYEN, TUYEN QUANG PROVINCE TO THE SETTING UP OF THE VIET BAC BASE (1945 - 1954)

Abstract

Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang were the centers of the Viet Bac base in the period of 1945 - 1954. During the resistance war against the French colonialists, the people of the two provinces of Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang played a great role and contributed in terms of human and material strength to the resistance war. The article outlines the process of building and developing the Viet Bac base, focusing on analyzing the role and contribution of the people of Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang provinces to the construction of the Viet Bac base. By using historical, logical, statistical, and analytical research methods, the study has clarified the contributions and roles of the people of the two provinces of Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang to the construction of Viet Bac base. These roles and contributions made an important contribution to bringing our people's resistance war against the French colonialists (1945 - 1954) to victory.
