BUILDING THE SMART TOURISM SYSTEM OF MULTI-PLATFORM APPLICATIONS FOR THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE
Abstract
The 4.0 revolution is positively impacting and creating a driving force for development in many areas of society, including the tourism industry. With the application and combination of many technologies such as GPS, GIS and information technology, it has opened up a space for the tourism industry and formed a new travel method for tourists, as well as improved the quality of tourism through the development of a smart tourism system. This system not only benefits tourists but also brings efficiency to the state management, businesses, as well as quickly spreads cultural values, national identity, history to the community. Therefore, not only scientists but also managers, domestic and international corporations have paid great attention, invested in research and developed smart tourism systems. In this paper, we present the design and construction of a multi-platform smart travel system with many features such as search by space and radius, automatic notification when there is a new promotion, travel destination suggestion, route planning, and contextual guidance for visitors via smartphones. The experimental evaluation results show that our smart travel system works stably, and has more useful features than current smart travel systems.
