EXPERIENCE IN SITECLEARANCE AT NGAN HA VIEN CEMETERY PROJECT IN THINH DUC COMMUNE, THAI NGUYEN CITY

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the current status of site clearance, compensation and support when implementing the Ngan Ha Vien Cemetery project in Thinh Duc commune, Thai Nguyen city. The study used the methods of investigation, data collection, comparison and synthesis on site clearance, compensation and support among 3 different land acquisition phases. The results show that the work of site clearance, compensation and support when carrying out land acquisition for the implementation of Ngan Ha Vien Cemetery project was in accordance with the prescribed process and procedures. However, there were still difficulties because a few households did not agree with the level of compensation and support. But with the propaganda, advocacy and supplementation of the appropriate compensation price, the project has been implemented on schedule. With the planned area which has not yet recovered, it is necessary to have a unified discussion among all levels of government, the investor and households based on the provisions of the land law and legal bases for site clearance according to the approved project plan, in order to ensure the scientific and uniform operation process of Ngan Ha Vien.
