CURRENT STATUS AND SOLUTIONS OF THE TRANSITION TRAINING FROM VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TO HIGHER EDUCATION AT THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY
Abstract
This article presents the current status of the transition training from vocational education to higher education at Thai Nguyen University. Secondary document research and expert methods are used in this article. Research results show the inadequacies and limitations in university-level transfer training in Vietnam. As a result, the article proposes a number of solutions to develop transfer training from vocational education to higher education, including solutions related to mechanisms and policies of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as Thai Nguyen University and univeristy members to solutions for developing training programs to ensure connectivity, cooperation mechanisms between training institutions and academic autonomy of the university members. The research results also confirm the need to promote transfer training to create conditions for learners to access higher education, and encourage the building and development of a learning society in Vietnam.
