This research provides an overview of the status and development potential of atmospheric water harvesting technologies that use thermoelectric coolers. Compared to traditional methods, these systems offer several key advantages, including compact size, quiet operation, flexible installation, and environmental friendliness. These features make thermoelectric coolers suitable for portable and small atmospheric water harvesting devices. However, thermoelectric modules inherently have a relatively low coefficient of performance. This study examines several experimental models to analyze the design and evaluate how key parameters affect water harvesting performance. Through this analysis, the study highlights the technical challenges that must be addressed to improve the efficiency of atmospheric water harvesting systems. The results show that with improvements in heat dissipation design and energy management, such systems can achieve a higher coefficient of performance. The review provides a basis for improving atmospheric water harvesting technologies using thermoelectric coolers so that these technologies can be applied in the future to provide drinking water in water-scarce areas.Downloads
