This study aimed to determine the mean age at menopause and to investigate factors associated with age at menopause among postmenopausal women attending Thai Nguyen National Hospital from January 1, 2025 to June 30 2025. A descriptive study was conducted on 610 women who had experienced natural menopause, had no history of ovarian-related surgery, and had not used any hormonal therapy. The mean age at menopause was 49.9 ± 3.8 years, with 95% of women experiencing menopause between 45 and 55 years of age. Approximately 50.2% of participants had a menopausal duration of 5–10 years. The majority of patients reported sleep disturbances (80%), decreased concentration or memory impairment (96.1%), urinary disorders (83.6%), and concomitant internal medical diseases (87.9%). Socioeconomic status and unhealthy lifestyle habits were significantly associated with the age at menopause (p < 0.05). Most women had been menopausal for more than five years and commonly experienced multiple menopausal symptoms as well as associated medical comorbidities.Downloads
