PERCEPTION OF THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN PARTY DEVELOPMENT WORK

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the current awareness state of Thai Nguyen University students in party development work, their goals and motivations to strive to join the party, the current state of party development work among students, and the role of the Youth Union and Student Association in party development work. The study conducted a survey of 5,374 students of 10 universities and colleges in Thai Nguyen University using online survey method through Google Forms. The research results were evaluated through descriptive statistics on frequency, percentage, and correlation between observed variables. Research results show that most students have awareness and understanding of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Students have the right goals and motivation to strive to join the party through the process of striving, studying and practicing. However, there is a group of students who show signs of ideological deviation and reduced trust in the party. Therefore, it is necessary to have synchronous solutions in political and ideological education for students.
