Dựa trên kết quả khảo sát từ 526 cá nhân là cán bộ công nhân viên của các ngân hàng thương mại tại thành phố Đà Nẵng, nghiên cứu này đã áp dụng các lý thuyết cơ bản và các nghiên cứu trước đó để thực hiện mục tiêu nghiên cứu về vai trò của trách nhiệm xã hội trong việc nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động tại các Ngân hàng thương mại trên địa bàn thành phố Đà Nẵng. Nghiên cứu này thực hiện bằng cách kết hợp các phương pháp phân tích cơ bản như thống kê, độ tin cậy Cronbach's alpha, phân tích nhân tố khám phá, mô hình đo lường và mô hình cấu trúc tuyến tính PLS-SEM từ phần mềm SPSS và SMART-PLS, nghiên cứu đã đưa ra những kết quả đáng chú ý, cụ thể: (1) Trách nhiệm xã hội tác động tích cực đến Sự gắn kết nhân viên, Đổi mới xanh, Hiệu quả hoạt động và (2) Sự gắn kết nhân viên, Đổi mới xanh  tác động tích cực đến Hiệu quả hoạt động. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy vai trò của trách nhiệm xã hội sự gắn kết nhân viên và đổi mới xanh trong việc nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động tại các ngân hàng thương mại. Các nghiên cứu theo sau có thể gia tang cỡ mẫu và mở rộng phạm vi nghiên cứu trên nhiều tỉnh, thành để mức độ ứng dụng nghiên cứu rộng hơn.
