Kỹ năng tự nhận thức bản thân giữ vai trò quan trọng đối với sự phát triển toàn diện của trẻ mẫu giáo, đồng thời là một nội dung cốt lõi trong giáo dục tình cảm - kỹ năng xã hội tại trường mầm non. Hiệu quả giáo dục kỹ năng này chịu sự chi phối lớn bởi năng lực lồng ghép và tổ chức hoạt động học của giáo viên. Nhằm làm rõ thực trạng giáo dục kỹ năng tự nhận thức bản thân cho trẻ 5-6 tuổi thông qua hoạt động học, nghiên cứu tiến hành khảo sát 57 giáo viên đang dạy các lớp mẫu giáo 5-6 tuổi trên địa bàn xã Phú Bình, tỉnh Thái Nguyên; đồng thời sử dụng kết hợp phương pháp định lượng và định tính để thu thập và phân tích dữ liệu. Kết quả cho thấy nhận thức của giáo viên về giáo dục kỹ năng tự nhận thức bản thân cho trẻ còn chưa đồng đều; mặc dù một số giáo viên đã bước đầu lồng ghép nội dung này vào hoạt động học, song việc triển khai chưa thường xuyên và chưa đảm bảo tính cân đối giữa các nội dung giáo dục. Kết quả nghiên cứu góp phần cung cấp cơ sở thực tiễn cho việc đề xuất và xây dựng các biện pháp giáo dục kỹ năng tự nhận thức bản thân cho trẻ 5–6 tuổi thông qua hoạt động học, phù hợp với điều kiện và bối cảnh giáo dục địa phương.
