The formation process and nature of "Cultural Marxism"
Keywords:
Cultural Marxism, classical Marxism
Abstract
The article presents an overview of the origin of “Cultural Marxism” in the 1920s; some very formal similarities between it and Marx’s own classic Marxism, to show that its essence is a very sophisticated anti-Marxist ideology, calling for the abolition of most traditional cultural - moral - family values to pave the way for some utopian social revolution. There is nothing truly Marxist in “Cultural Marxism”, it is simply that Marx’s name has been used to label a reactionary social doctrine. And we must correctly identify its content and platform of action to be vigilant and avoid being deceived by the name, by the concept swap, and not let it spread in our healthy society.
