Good governance and human rights assurance in Vietnam

Abstract

Historical and social practices show that the traditional state management method with the state as the center, the subject holding the right to intervene and control all areas of social life not only makes the state apparatus cumbersome and ineffective, but also easily leads to human rights violations. In the face of the trend of modern national governance innovation, good governance is a solution chosen by many countries to improve the operational efficiency of state agencies and better protect human rights. The article focuses on analyzing the relationship between good governance and human rights protection. On that basis, some assessments are drawn on the current situation of human rights protection in Vietnam based on the core principles of good governance, which serve as the foundation for perfecting the law
and the State's management role in ensuring human rights in our country.
