Current situation and solutions to support labor and employment for people with disabilities in Quang Ninh province

Abstract

The results of a sociological survey on the current labor and employment situation and solutions to support labor and employment of/for people with hearing and speaking disabilities (PWD) in some areas of Quang Ninh province have shown that a relatively high proportion of PWD of working age have been working and earning income. However, the precariousness and fragility of work are still high. There are many factors affecting the labor and employment of PWD, but the factors of disability identity and policies have the strongest influence. Therefore, solutions to continue supporting rehabilitation of labor and employment suitable to the identity of PWD and solutions to adjust and improve institutions and policies to support labor and employment for this social group play the most important role
