Perspectives on human beings in the Party’s development strategy during the Renovation period and orientations in the draft documents of the 14th National Congress

Abstract

Over nearly 40 years of national renewal (1986-2025), the Party's theoretical thinking on the human issue has made significant progress, particularly in identifying the importance of human beings and empowering them in realizing national development goals. The draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress continue to affirm strategic orientations on human resources, contributing to guiding the practical implementation of promoting the role of the Vietnamese people as the main actors and unleashing their potential in the context of the nation's new era. This article contributes to clarifying these strategic orientations and, through them, identifies the depth of the Party's theoretical thinking in this new development phase.
