STRENGTHENING THE POSITIVENESS AND PROACTIVENESS FOR NON-ENGLISH MAJORED FRESHMEN AT TAY BAC UNIVERSITY THROUGH GROUP WORK ACTIVITIES

Abstract

By qualitative research method and research research method, this study aims at investigating the learners’ attitude, group work style and the effectiveness of learning English the first year non-English majors of Tay Bac University as well as the use of group-work activities. In addition, the research also aims to find out the difficulties that lecturers and students often encounter in organizing and carrying out group activities. The result of the study is certainly meaningful and useful for both the students’ learning process and the teachers’ teaching English.
