Economy in the digital - challenges and difficulties in Vietnam

Abstract

Digital Technologies are rapidly spreading, thereby affecting the way businesses run their operations, and in the long run, transforming economic as well as social activities. The digital era has significantly transformed our lives in unimaginable levels, bringing with it opportunities to take advantage of as well as challenges to tackle. There is a significant contribution that a new technology contributes towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals. There is need for quick adaptation to the ever-changing technologies if we need technology to work for us

Embracing new technologies enhances partnerships and globalization. There are implications of the constantly emerging digital technologies in terms of value creation and capture. At present, the digital economy is booming and is a critical force in the efforts towards sustainable and consistent economic growth in countries across the world. Measuring the digital economic development determines the extend to which the digital era has affected the economy in Vietnam and other countries across the world.
