Effective approaches for the successful integration of the circular economy concept into Vietnam's energy industry

Abstract

The development of a circular economy (CE) in Vietnam's energy industry is crucial for achieving sustainable socio-economic growth and reducing emissions. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has assigned Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) to collaborate with relevant organizations to create a “National Action Plan for the Implementation of CE”. This Plan aims to promote the application of CE principles and strategies in various sectors, with a particular emphasis on the mining and energy sector.
