Abstract

Abstract: Environmental management and protection in Vietnam is the responsibility of the State, the political system and the entire population based on the research results of many branches and scientific fields. Sociology is one of the disciplines that provide theoretical basis and research methods, thereby collecting objective and scientific data for planning and implementing environmental management and protection policies. Therefore, the paper explains and applies some theories and research methods of sociology in environmental management and protection in Vietnam today.
