A study on strategies used in verbal communication between native english and non-native speakers in the workplace
Abstract
The study is divided into three main parts: theoretical content; the practical study with all the analysis of the data recorded and taken, based on the model of analysis leading to a discovery of verbal adjustments and summaries, then some findings chiefly found by comparing the realization of verbal strategies by native English and non-native speakers. Some recommendations are also made to teaching and learning foreign languages as a preparation for a business life and it ends with suggestions for further study into the matter.
