PHONETIC FEATURES OF VIETNAMESE AND ENGLISH PROVERBS DENOTING BEHAVIOR

Abstract

The paper focuses on an in-depth comparative survey of Vietnamese and English proverbs relating behavior from the phonetic perspective in order to find out the relationship between the expressive images and thoughts associated, language and culture, speech act and mindset of the two nations. This is a direct effect for enriching students’ vocabularies and having a better understanding of customs, language and culture they are learning.
