Skilled labor demand of some countries in the asean economic community

Abstract

   Since 2003, ASEAN leaders have planned ASEAN 2020 vision including three main pillars: (i) ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), (ii) ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and (iii) ASEAN Cultural and Social Community (ASCC).In 2007, again, leaders reiterated this commitment, and decided to accelerate the process of establishing the ASEAN economiccommunity by 2015 by adopting the AEC Action Plan. And on December 31, 2015, the ASEAN Community was officiallyestablished. Accordingly, skilled workers of some sectors are free to move between ASEAN countries. Determining the skilledlabor demand of some ASEAN countries to orientate the movement of Vietnamese skilled labor is necessary.
