Improving today students’s self-study capacity

Abstract

   Through theoretical and practical research, it can be seen that self-study plays a very important role in cognitive activities, development and perfection of human personality.  In higher education, students' self-study plays an even bigger role, which is considered a decisive factor in the quality of education.  Currently, the self-study ability of Vietnamese students is not effective.  There are many reasons for this, both subjective and objective.  Therefore, improving students' self-study ability is an urgent requirement for higher education in our country today.  In this article, the author gives general theoretical issues on improving students' self-study ability.  Thereby, initially introduces a number of activities to improve the self-study ability of current students.
