Hazards and solutions to prevent occupational accidents in wood craft villages
Abstract
Wood production development positively contributes to socio-economic development in the current period. Like other traditional professions, carpentry brings high income for local people but involves many risks of occupational accidents. The main risks causing occupational accidents in wood craft villages are very diverse, such as contact with machines and equipment with many dangerous factors; wood dust, causing the risk of environmental pollution and explosion; workplace is small and narrow, easy to slip and trip; hazards from falling, falling, collapsing and noise hazards. This article focused on analysis and evaluation to clarify the situation of occupational accidents in wood craft village, from which solutions to promote occupational safety and sanitation activities in craft villages.
