REAL SITUATION OF APPLYING BIOMEDICAL STATISTICAL MATHEMATICS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AT NAM DINH UNIVERSITY OF NURSING IN THE PERIOD 2013 - 2018
Abstract
Objective: To describe the real situation of using biomedical statistical mathematics in scientific research themes of staff and and graduate students at Nam Dinh University of Nursing in the period of 2013 – 2018. Method: restrospective research was conducted with 48 grassroots scientific research themes from 2013 to 2018, 132 theses of graduate students of courses I, II, III (protected in 2016, 2017, 2018). Results: The percentage of themes, theses applied descriptive statistics was 98,9%. The rate of themes, theses applied inference statistics are 56.3% and 97.7% respectively. The rate of themes, theses in applying graphs to presenting data are 87.8%. Some shortcomings in the application of statistical math: incorrect decription, inappropriate, tables and charts with identical data, Inference statistics application lacks to test hypotheses,... Conclusion: Most themes, theses apply correctly to statistical math, however there are still some shortcomings.
