SOME FACTORS RELATED TO THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF CRITICAL HEART FAILURE PATIENTS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY AT NAM DINH GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2022
Abstract
Objectives: Determining some factors related to the quality of life of patients with chronic heart failure at the Department of Cardiology at Nam Dinh General Hospital in 2022. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study was performed on 89 patients with chronic heart failure inpatient treatment at the Department of Cardiology - Nam Dinh General Hospital. Using the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire to measure the quality of life of heart failure patients to collect data from February to May 2022. Results: Most patients have a low quality of life 89.9%. Female patients have poorer overall quality of life and physical and mental well-being than male patients; the group of patients with heart failure grade I and II had a higher quality of life than patients with heart failure grade III and IV, the group of patients with mild depression had a higher quality of life than patients with depression. medium and heavy; patients receiving high social support have a higher quality of life than the other two groups of patients. Conclusion: Factors related to the quality of life of patients with heart failure in the study include gender, heart failure classification, level of depression and level of social support
