NUTRITIONAL STATUS AND FACTORS RELATED TO DYSLIPIDEMIA PATIENTS AT 108 MILITARY CENTRAL HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to assess the nutritional status and examine factors related to dyslipidemia patients at 108 Military Central Hospital. Methods: The cross - sectional study was conducted with 185 dyslipidemia patients in 108 Military Central Hospital from June, 2022 to December, 2022. Results: In 185 dyslipidemia patients, prevalence of malnutrition according to BMI was 13,6%, normal was 48,1%, overweight – obesity was 38,3%. The patients with age group ≥ 50 had 2,1 times risk of overweight – obesity than those with the age group < 50 (p < 0,05). The smoker group had 2,6 times risk of overweight – obesity than the non smoker group (p < 0,05). Conclusion: Prevalence of overweight – obesity in dyslipidemia patients was high on admission. There is a relationship between age, smoking in overweight – obesity patients
