Abstract

Objective: To describe the level of postpartum maternal satisfaction at the Department of Obstetrics, Vinmec Times City International General Hospital in 2025 and to identify associated factors. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 321 postpartum women at the Department of Obstetrics, Vinmec Times City International General Hospital, from September 2024 to June 2025. A structured questionnaire utilizing a 5-point Likert scale was employed, following the guidelines of the Department of Medical Service Administration, Ministry of Health (Decision No. 1334/KCB-QLCL, 2015). Results: The overall satisfaction score among postpartum women was 4.24 ± 0.74. Satisfaction across specific domains-including infrastructure, transparency of information and administrative procedures, staff attitude, and professional competence-exceeded 70%. Postpartum women from provinces outside Hanoi were significantly more likely to report higher overall satisfaction compared to those residing in Hanoi, with an odds ratio (OR) of 3.44 (95% CI: 1.78–6.66). Conclusion: The overall level of maternal satisfaction at Vinmec Times City International Hospital was relatively high. The hospital should continue to maintain and strengthen the aspects that have been positively evaluated by patients. In particular, regular assessment of patient satisfaction by geographic location is recommended to promptly identify differences in needs and expectations, thereby enabling tailored care strategies for specific population groups
