RESULTS OF STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF THE PLANTING SEASON ON THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF SACHI IN SPRING - SUMMER SEASON 2018 IN TRIEU SON DISTRICT, THANH HOA PROVINCE

Abstract

The research on the influences of the planting season on growth, yield of Sachi in Spring - Summer season, 2018 at Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province. The
experiment was designed in randomized complete block (RCB) with four treatments and three replications in Spring- Summer season 2018. The treatments were included with 4 planting seasons such as 1) The planting season 1 (TV1): The sowing date was on 5th of June, 2018 and the planting date was on the 9thof July, 2018; 2) The planting season 2 (TV2): the sowing date was on the 20th of June, 2018 and the planting date was on the 24th of July, 2018; 3) The planting season 3 (TV3): The sowing date was on the 6th of July, 2018 and the transplanting date was on 9th of August, 2018; 4) The planting season 4 (TV4): the sowing date was on the 21st of July, 2018 and the transplanting date was on the 24th of August, 2018. The planting density was 3.333 plants/ha. The study result showed that after four times harvesting, the real seed yield of Sachi of the planting season 3 (TV3) obtained the highest (5.21 tons/ha), and higher than other treatments at a statistically significant probability with LSD0,05= 0.26 tons/ha. In addition, the Sachi of the planting season 3 had highest ability tolerance of disease. To summary, the sowing date was on the 6th of June, 2018 and the transplanting date was on 9th of August, 2018 that was suitable for Sachi grew and got the highest yield at Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province.
