EVALUATING OF THE GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND YEILD, QUALITY OF LEONURUS HETEROPHYLLUS SWEET IN THANH HOA

Abstract

Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet is considered to be one of the fundamental herbs in traditional medicine which is used to make active medicine, diuretic, curing women's diseases. In current production, there are two different phenotypes, the blue-stem and the purple-stem. The aim of this study is to select the Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet line for high medicinal yield and amount of of active ingredients in order to build the production area of  Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet material with uniform morphology, stable yield and quality. The research results showed that the green Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet pattern grow and develop well for the highest medicinal yield of medicinal herbs and amount of active ingredient (average tree height was 196.6 cm; average stem diameter was reached. 1.13cm; average level I of branches was 17.1 stems; average dry productivity of 4.18 tons/ha, amount of active ingredient.
