THE LOOSE STRUCTURE OF POETRY’S IMAGE AFTER 1986

Abstract

One of the basic aspects showing the attempt to reform Vietnamese poetry after 1986 is the art of building the image of poetry. Bound by old poetry, modern poetry before 1986 in Vietnam has the coherence and unity in image building. Therefore, the laxity in the structure of poetic image building after 1986 is the breakthrough of poetic poetry. The article clarifies this expression through the following points: Poetry image is constructed by philosophical thoughts; Poetic images are made up of symbols; Poetic images are created by spiritual and hidden feelings.
