EXPERIENCE OF SUPPORTING START-UP STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITIES OF SOME DEVELOPED COUNTRIES AND LESSON FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to synthesize experiences in supporting start-up students from universities in some developed countries, including: Germany, the United States, Finland, Taiwan, and Thailand. The results show that the activities to support start-up students mainly include: establishing incubation centers, supporting start-up in universities; training, organizing start-up contests; building, connecting and managing start-up mentor/coach networks. From that, we give suggestions for organizing activities to support start-up students at Vietnam universities nowadays.
