THE EFFECT OF PIGMAX SUPPLEMENTATION INTO DIETS ON THE GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF PIGLETS FROM WEANING PERIOD TO 60 DAYS OLD
Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the effect of supplementation of Pigmax on the
growth performance of piglets at different levels in the diet for piglets. 135 piglets from weaning to 60-day old, gender equality, three-blood hybrid (PiDu x Yorshire) were
randomly divided into 3 treatments, 15 piglets in each treatment and repeated three times.
The experiment was conducted at the farm in Yen Dinh Livestock and Agricultural Service
Co., Ltd. The cage floor was made of hard plastic and an automatic drinking system was
provided. Pig feed was completed compound feed. The research results showed that weight
gain and feed intake of pig from weaning to 60-day old which supplied with PigMAX were
significantly higher as compared to those of the control treatment. In which, the supplement
dose of 2000g/ton of feed showed higher efficiency than the dose of 1000g/ton of feed.
