Abstract

Psychology in education is receiving more and more attention from researchers. Much research has been conducted to identify the factors that cause negativity in school psychology. Choosing a different approach, this study investigates the impact of positive endogenous factors on students’ subjective well-being. In addition, the study also determined the differences between the groups of disciplines in terms of the relationships in the research model, something that no previous research has done. The results of data analysis by the PLS-SEM obtained from 624 respondents showed that emotional intelligence positively affects motivation and subjective well-being. Not only that, but it also limits burnout in education. The study proposes relevant solutions for students and universities based on this result.
