Abstract

Grounded on the theoretical foundations of the Resource-Based View (RBV) and the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity (AMO) framework, this study aims to explore the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on firms’ Green Competitive Advantage (GCA) through the dual mediating roles of Green Work Engagement (GWE) and Voluntary Green Behavior (VGB). Data was collected from 302 employees working in enterprises located in Ho Chi Minh City, and the PLS-SEM model was applied to test the research model and hypotheses. The results support all proposed hypotheses, confirming that GHRM positively influences GCA. Additionally, the dual mediating effects of GWE and VGB were found to be significant in the relationship between GHRM and GCA. This study extends the theoretical foundation and provides empirical evidence for managers and policymakers to implement GHRM practices, thereby contributing to sustainable transformation effectively
