Analyzing the impact of the cooperative group on the production efficiency of farming households in Chau Thanh district Dong Thap Province

Abstract

<p>The article uses the OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) model to analyze the impact of cooperative groups and cooperative group programs on production efficiency. OLS regression model results show that participating in cooperative groups has a positive effect on farmer efficiency, especially product support programs, scientist meeting programs, and agricultural discussion programs. ecology, discuss climate change adaptation agriculture, crop area, labor, simple mechanization, modern mechanization, production costs, sale price (of which, organizing the product support program of the association is the factor that has the greatest effect in bringing effective change to the production efficiency of farming households). From there, the research proposes appropriate policies to further promote the role of cooperative groups in improving agricultural production efficiency to help reduce production costs, increase productivity, stabilize purchasing prices, and help increase farmers’ profits.</p>
