Development of Digital Cash and Digital Banking in the Current Period

Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, digital technology is being increasingly applied to commercial banking, payment, and money management. Different types of e-wallets and payment methods emerge, such as virtual currencies, and their names include cryptocurrency, digital currency, and virtual currency. Digital banking technologies have emerged, becoming familiar to the public through websites, mentioned quite a lot to the public through forums, and very popular in daily financial transactions among young people. The paper uses qualitative research methods, giving a basic description of the above concepts, terms, and transactions, generalizing digital money development, digital banking globally, and implementation in Vietnam.
